A Horde fellowship for WoW Forever
A relaxed, new-player-friendly guild for people who want to explore Azeroth together, learn without pressure, and role-play a Horde worth building.
Many peoples. One future.
Who we are
Eastwatch at Dawn is a grassroots Horde guild formed by people of many races who believe the Horde deserves a peaceful, prosperous and secure future.
We do not speak for the Warchief, any racial leader, army or government. We are simply members of the Horde who have chosen to stand together.
Orc, troll, tauren, Forsaken, Skyborne and others may have different histories and beliefs. We do not expect sameness. We ask only that members respect those beside them and share a desire to build something better.
How we play
Eastwatch is for players who want to experience the game together rather than rush through it.
New players, returning players and experienced players trying something unfamiliar are all welcome. Questions and mistakes are part of the journey.
Quests, dungeons, world content and adventures are better with company. We would rather discover content together than race past it.
We enjoy doing well, but optimisation, speed and perfect performance never matter more than the people we are playing with.
Real life comes first. Play when you can, step away when you need to, and return when you wish. The watchfire remains lit.
Roleplay-friendly, not roleplay-demanding
You do not need to stay in character all the time or write an elaborate backstory. We simply hope members embrace the idea of the guild.
Your character might seek acceptance, redemption, stability, a permanent home, or simply believe the Horde can become something better. Characters may disagree about the Alliance, faith, magic or politics. What connects them is the belief that the Horde has a future worth building and defending.
The Charter
Our strength comes from different peoples choosing to stand together. No race owns the guild and no class defines its worth.
Many Horde peoples know captivity, exile, corruption or displacement. We oppose domination and the stripping away of another person's will.
We do not forget old wounds. But memory should teach wisdom, not make vengeance our only inheritance.
Peace lets homes be built and people recover. We do not seek unnecessary war and we leave room for coexistence where it is possible.
Hope is not helplessness. If Horde people or homes are threatened, Eastwatch stands ready to act.
Teach rather than ridicule. Invite rather than exclude. Laugh when things go wrong. Remember there is a person behind every character.
Our view of the Alliance
Eastwatch does not regard every Alliance member as an enemy, nor do we assume trust. We do not seek unnecessary conflict. We do not abandon the Horde when conflict finds us.
